People and Destinies
The society is dedicated to preserving the memory of those residents of Heppenheim who were persecuted and murdered during the National Socialist period. Gradually stones will be laid for all of these people in front of the buildings or places where they last lived. To this end our society has linked up with the Cologne artist Gunter Demnig.
But the stones are only one part of the memory. It’s also important to us to research the family background of the people. We research the families extensively and document the results.
